Nik Wallenda sets up to tight rope walk across Niagara Falls Day 1

32 year old, Nik Wallenda, tight rope walker, is in his first day of practice for his stunt high wire act of walking across the U.S - Canada , Niagara Falls.  I watched the set up for a while.  Just thinking how great the circus acts are, but I'd rather Nik choose to Fuel Jet Pack over the Falls, for his safety.  I secretly wonder if he falls will I accidentally laugh, and feel guilty for ever.  That's the thing pushing people to see him.  Photos for this even will be rare since the Casino hosting is not photo friendly.

Nik Wallenda tight rope walker, 1st day set up Niagara Falls, NY

Today I went to the Senaca Casino in Niagara Falls, NY, to watch 32 year old tight rope walker, Nik Wallenda, set up for his stunt practice.  Mr. Wallenday will be tight walking on a rope set to about the same as the Rainbow Bridge to my understanding.  That's from Niagara Falls, U.S to Niagara Falls, Canada.  He has a month to practice at the Senaca Casino. They aren't very photo friendly there.  I was able to grab a couple of shots for my precious followers.  I shall give you updates through out the process.

One of Brazil's best Photographers! "Who's that Girl?" The lady is "Kasha Lee"

It's a habit of mine to keep up with terrific, beautiful and amazing talent.  Especially when it's from an alternative lifestyle, genre, art form etc.  Brazil has a knack for beauty, and for this Icon rock beauty, it must come natural because whether she's filming horror, shooting beauty, Alt. porn or daily life, she does it from her own mouth watering and sexy point of view.

I'm speaking of one of Brazil's best photographers, Ms. Kasha Lee.  Ms. Lee as you can see is also a tattoo model , actress, and film maker.  She loves horror genre, like zombies and vampires.  I know you're thinking "who doesn't", but what's better than an artist that takes a hands on exploration into their art?  Nothing, talent is unlimited.
This photographer/film maker/tattoo model from Porto Alegre, Brasil is the beautiful, tattooed, rock hottie, Kasha Lee.  Ms. Lee has always built a foundation for the fashion/ glamour world as if she was a well studied school teacher.  She's no New Jack, trust me.

She's has dazzled me with her work since I first introduced myself to her about two years ago.
You can follow her beauty, style, as she has a ball making her fun into work into art, like magic on websites like: look book  @ http://lookbook.nu/kasha or @ Youtube.com under KashaNurse @http://www.youtube.com/user/KashaNurse or on facebook @
Just one look at her, or her work and she will win you over.
Kasha and her team, recently sent me a Youtube short of her new production the "making of Demon Divas", to let me know that she is always busy at work.  I'm working on getting her link to United States internet servers.  Soon as I have that info, all of Mi Gentes en el Einsteinwanabe will be informed.  As for booking the Film world's skilled trade worker, I think she's well capable of keeping you occupied until then.   https://www.facebook.com/kashafotografias  or @ Myspace http://www.myspace.com/cristianetrein
You may also view her work and purchase her works or book her for a shoot @ http://www.kasha.com.br/

Whether you're in the U.S or South America, this is a talent that is worth the exploration.  So if you have a chance, take a glance.  Ms. Lee is a very sociable individual with great interpersonal skills and very unique taste.  Ms. Lee is a definite trend setter.

Where the hell are my skips?

Well, if you grew up at my parents side, you would probably have a few pairs of "Skips".  "Skips" are just slang for a ridiculously cheap, non famed name brand, pair of sneakers.  They usually don't have much padding.  They used to sell at the side of the cash register, next to the house slippers for ten dollars or less ( and I mean the shoe price, not the cash register line.  As a kid I hated wearing them, and kept my wearing of them close to home.  Now as an adult, if I'm doing house choirs, set hand, photography, art, musician, mechanic, relaxing, I'm doing these activities in a pair of skips.  It's hard to leave them alone.  Now that they are in popularity ( weren't they always?) Many large conglomerate shoe companies are adopting these under developed shoes.  You can watch a pair of skips going for up to $1000.00( going from super market, to Keds, to Gucci).
Don't sleep on a Pair of "Skips". They'll become your best friend if it is a choice between getting your expensive shoes dirty, scuffed and rendered useless and putting a gel sole in a pair of skips.  So if I'm taking long shoe shopping, I'm probably nervous searching through shoes for my size and taste thinking " Where the hell are my skips?".

Tis' the season to Low ride

Banana Seats
Deluxe Beach cruiser    26" Beach Cruiser Bike Nirve Straight Apehanger Cruiser Bike Handlebar - SportsAuthority.com  40" Sissybar Suspension Highback CHROME
Since the weather has been so pleasant , I've broken out the "banana seat bike" or "low rider" ,"Deluxe Beach cruisers", "chopper bikes" ," Krates".  It's cool because it makes it cool to just cruise.  I've cruised the Niagara Falls bike path and caught scenic views of the falls, the whirlpool, and the Ontario, Ca. buddhist temple.  Other tattooed, punked, skin head, and old school pros ask me where to find the kit for a low rider bike or Banana seat bike.  First part is the handle bars.  They are called Ape hangers.  Mine have a 15" rise.  Try to keep in mind that your break cables have to stretch just right?  The Banana seat is just that, a banana seat.  The important part to a banana seat is a "Sissy bar".  This is the bar that goes from a back tire up to hold the seat and provides back support.  My seat is 16 inches and bar is 3 ft. Other things can be added, but these are the essentials.

Often once the vocabulary is in your head, anyone can become a lowrider collector and builder. These bikes are the skeleton work of a motorcycle and can easily be made motorized with gas tank and motor attachments. Check it out because "tis the season to low ride with the cyclist. Throwbacks to cruise to.

Recently when I'm in the mood for oldies, I find myself listening to a Mix tape download.  It becomes a favorite for old school R& B and Soul favorites that would be what's missing from one of those time life collection.  It's perfect for if you cruise short distances as a driver or long distances as a passenger.  It's name is "Summer Breeze- Slow jams" and "Summer breeze 2- Slow jams"  by , DJ 2Mello & Miami Kaos.  These mixtapes can be linked to DJ 2Mello & Miami Kaos through Rapmullet.com and datpiff.com.  Booking info and mix tape sales are also available at the following links.

CCI Magazine

I recently came to have the pleasure of bumping into a cool dude named Ryan.  He has this magazine that you might find on the set of an Adult Movie because one of the hot actresses are looking at to see a new tattoo, or they might have been a model in, showcasing their new tattoos.   It's a hot tattoo magazine to keep in any tattoo shop. If you'd like them wholesale for your shop or news stand, the link are both in this post and at the bottom of this blog, check it out. http://centralcityinkmagazine.com/

On the way back from NYC

On my last drive back from NYC, I couldn't help but notice how dark these highways are.  Driving through Pennsylvania's mountains and the hills of Western NY is a dark ,and very curvy path.  There are no street lights over the highway.  If one business in these small towns have a porch light on, this will be the only light with in any visual distance of the highway.  Drivers blind each other with high beams to see 15 feet in front of us, while 18 wheeler trucks fly pass us down hill at 100 mph.  State troopers love the dark for giving tickets to speeders.  It's a damn shame that they were only speeding because these dark ass lil ghost towns remind us of a horror movie or two, and they were just trying to get out of them before they ran out of gas and the zombies attacked.
We need more lights on these highways.  It can't be safe to have dark highways.  Is it supposed to be more calming, so that we get better sleep while on the road, or so that person who misplaced their glasses, has worse sight of those lil' speckled white lane dividers?  I'm not certain, but I noticed it while "on the way back from NYC."

My Wine of Choice this month

This month I've chosen the sweet porto bello flavor of italian swiss colony, american port.  It pours rich, rough and sappy.  When left to air for a while, it taste like a bouquet of roses.  Don't be fooled.  The taste can take you for a ride.
It came in a huge bottle.  It's size reminded me of the Manichewitz that I used to swipe from mi' folks around the holidays.  It's a good thing, I'm grown and found a better buzz.
